Allimax is the result of a patented process and is the first garlic in the world to contain real bioactive, stabilised allicin in each capsule.  Allimax is made in the same way allicin from fresh garlic is formed but a special flood reaction system using only water is able to produce large quantities of stable allicin.  The liquid is then carefully dried, under controlled conditions, to maintain its potency. This sophisticated refinement process has for the first time allowed garlic’s active component to be stabilised and ensures that it works as good as (if not better than) fresh garlic itself!

Allicin is not found in fresh garlic. Fresh garlic contains an enzyme called “allinase” and “alliin”, which are contained in different parts of garlic. Allicin results when allinase interacts with alliin. Since allicin deteriorates very quickly, Allicin powder extract is the only way to get a stable and standardized amount of allicin that is ready to be used by the body directly.
